Throughout my career, I have effectively engaged, partnered with and promoted the private sector through talent outreach initiatives, corporate sustainability-themed publications, business development products, public-private media partnerships and thematic articles. This work includes:
- Coordinating talent outreach communications targeting private sector corporations, including through UNICEF Careers platforms, Devex and the UNICEF Senior Fellows programme.
- Promoting corporate social responsibility in private sector partnerships and talent acquisition, particularly through child safeguarding advocacy and communications.
- Promoting corporate sustainability in UNOPS procurement through the global website and strategic communications around UN Web Buy Plus, UNGM and the UN Global Compact.
- Coordinating the production and dissemination of publications promoting corporate sustainability, including the 2012 and 2013 Annual Statistical Report on United Nations Procurement and Hygiene Matters.
- Engaging the private sector through business development and partnership products.
- Forging diverse media partnerships with private sector corporations at UNOPS and The Courier.
- Collaborating with and engaging the private sector in campaigns, digital platforms and social media.
- Mobilizing corporate participation in and contributions to global development events for the EastWest Institute.
- Conducting research on private sector and corporate sustainability.
