GSF newsletter: I launched a newsletter for the Global Sanitation Fund’s (GSF) stakeholders and partners, which served as a platform for knowledge exchange and promoted stronger collaboration among 13 GSF-supported programmes and donors around the world. See an example

 

Scoping and Diagnosis of the Global Sanitation Fund’s Approach to Equality and Non-Discrimination

I managed the editing, production and dissemination of this major independent study on equality and non-discrimination in the Water Supply and Sanitation Collaborative Council’s (WSSCC’s) Global Sanitation Fund (GSF)-supported programmes (English/French). The study was the most most downloaded WSSCC product in 2017.

Global Sanitation Fund Progress Report

I managed the production and dissemination of the 2014, 2015 and 2016 editions of the Global Sanitation Fund (GSF) Progress Report (English/French),  a flagship Water Supply and Sanitation Collaborative Council (WSSCC) publication and crucial resource for stakeholders. My work in leading and coordinating the writing, editing, production and dissemination of the report contributed to increased media coverage, visibility, engagement and downloads. The 2016 Progress Report is the most downloaded GSF publication.

Annual Statistical Report on United Nations Procurement

Managed by UNOPS, the Annual Statistical Report on United Nations Procurement (ASR) is the flagship procurement report for the United Nations system. The report has featured a thematic Supplement on a key issue in procurement, with a foreword by United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.

I managed the production of the 2012 and 2013 editions of the ASR and its Supplement. This included coordinating content development, editing, design, printing and dissemination. My work led to increased media coverage and downloads, new partnerships and an expanded media network for UNOPS.

The Courier Magazine

The Courier was a magazine published by the European Commission, focusing on African, Caribbean, Pacific and European Union (ACP-EU) development cooperation. The magazine was produced by a Consortium of three media partners, with the Executive Board consisting of the Secretary-General of the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States and Director General for Development at the European Commission. The magazine had a circulation of 80,000 copies and was distributed in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese, in over 100 countries. My work involved coordinating editorial, print/web production, marketing, distribution and reporting processes for the magazine. I also wrote a range of widely access news and feature stories for the print edition and website, as a contributing journalist. As a result, I significantly enhanced production, outreach, partnership, engagement and reporting strategies and results for the magazine. She Builds was a month-long global conversation on Devex, that began on International Women’s Day in March 2014. The campaign put a spotlight on the critical role women play in creating healthy, stable and thriving communities around the world. Learning, progress and innovation: Sanitation and hygiene promotion in Madagascar

I managed the production  and dissemination of various case studies for the Global Sanitation Fund (GSF), including one focused on the GSF-funded programme in Madagascar. The case study explores how the programme is promoting sustainability and achieving strong sanitation and hygiene results through a cycle of learning, progress and innovation.
